Bell Hospital and Repair Shop

After promising myself that I would mend and repair my early years instruments, today I have finally done it.  The repair I am most pleased with is the Accordion. After a project working with two year olds fully exploring the instruments, there have been a few casualties and losses..

There is something very satisfying about mending things that would have to otherwise be decommissioned.  I am so glad these bells and vibrafoil will also live to see another day.

The Early Years Music sessions are due to start in Norwich in May so I'm getting the kit all ready.  I'm really looking forward to starting and am enjoying revamping some of the instruments and buying some new ones.  I always get excited about that!!  Soon I shall be taking delivery of a brand new silk parachute. (I've wanted one for ages)  They move so beautifully and the babies love to watch it gently billowing above their heads.

The keyboard has had a little fluffy adornment added and although it makes no different to the sound that it makes, I like it a lot.
